Listings

Listing details come from public sources, shown on every listing with the date checked. See how we list doctors.

Explanations of treatments, approvals and coverage

• Written in plain language for patients and their families.
• Based on regulators' decisions (FDA, NICE, CE marking), published clinical-trial results and professional guidelines, linked where we use them.
• Checked against those sources before publishing and reviewed when an approval, coverage rule or guideline changes.
• We are adding independent medical review: the reviewing doctor's name and the review date will appear on each explanation page.

Use of AI tools

We use AI tools to help search sources, organise listing data and draft text. A person checks every listing against its source and reviews every page before it is published. We do not publish text that has not been checked.

Independence and sponsorship

The directory is independent of device manufacturers. Clinics can pay to be featured; featured listings are labelled "Sponsored" and their links are marked as sponsored. Sponsors do not write or approve any other content and cannot change how other doctors are listed.

Corrections

If you find an error, email info@focaltherapyfinder.org. We correct verified errors promptly and update the page's date.
